We regret to announce the closing of the Appleton Journal as one of the weekly newspapers under the Times Villager Newspaper Group.  The publishers have decided to cease publication immediately, due to economic conditions.  We want to thank everyone who enjoyed and supported the paper. It is an unfortunate scenario that we are going through right now.  Wednesday June 30, 2010 will be the last issue.

The Times-Villager and Wrightstown Spirit will continue to publish as always and I look forward to working with you if these markets are of interest to you.  The Times-Villager has been around since 1880 and the Wrightstown Area Spirit for 6 years and continue to be strong in their marketplace.
